Mimi and Bradley wanted to elope on top of amountain at sunrise and WOW, did it turn out to be the most stunning morning! We chose Stoney Man trail in Shenandoah National Park to stay close to their home, Washington DC, while still getting those classic mountain views.

We met in the parking lot at 5:30am to start our hike up the trail and though it was early, it was absolutely worth it. A true gentleman, Bradley carried their changes of clothes, bouquet, snacks, and everything Mimi might possibly need up to the top! They changed into their formalwear at the summit and the sun was just about to peek above the horizon when we starting taking photos. It was the sunrise of everyone's dreams: golden light radiating upward, catching on the corners of clouds as they meandered the sky.

After exchanging vows and capturing those epic photos at Stoney Man, we jumped in our cars and headed to a couple of overlooks right off the Skyline Drive. The chill was really starting to set in so Mimi was jumping in and out of the car we left running with the heat on.
